Canadian Bollywood was born in 2008 in Calgary, Canada as a creative vision of Gursimran Dhillon and Harsimran Dhillon. Starting with a HVX200, a basic light kit and a computer but lot of passion and energy, the company has grown and so has our capability and inventory of equipment. The company currently owns the full Red One camera kit and other high end gear by Arri, O’Connor etc. Please see our Rental section for more information on complete list of current inventory available for rent.
Since inception, we have produced or acted as a service provider on numerous projects such as feature films, short films, docu dramas, web based entertainment series and music videos. Gursimran Dhillon
Gursimran is an active member of the Canadian Forces and has passion for anything creative. An avid guitar player and self-taught writer/director he wrote and directed the company’s first full length feature film. He has been the creative mind behind most of the work produced by the company so far and has a unique knack for connecting with the demands of viewers and delivering what people want to watch.

Harsimran Dhillon
Harsimran founded Canadian Bollywood Films along with Gursimran in 2008. An engineer by profession with a penchant for film making, Harsimran looks after the day-to-day business activities and develops business strategies for the company. Having been part of some of the largest oil & gas projects in Alberta, Harsimran brings in lot of project management and leadership experience which translates into direct cost savings for the company and the projects by harnessing the available resources in the most efficient way.
